The successful theatrical release of the anime film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is one of the reasons on why the 2nd was announced. As of this moment, the said movie earned almost 10 Billion Yen since its first theatrical release last December 24, 2021. The said movie is still showing in Japanese theaters with overseas screening in some of the countries like United States, France, Germany, and even some part of Asia.
