WAKUWAKU JAPAN to Cease Broadcasting on Pay TV this March 31

The Japanese entertainment pay-TV channel WAKUWAKU JAPAN announced that they will cease its broadcasting and live streaming on March 31, 2022.

The said pay-TV channel announced this through their social media accounts and press release on their website. No reason was given for the closure of the said TV channel.

WAKUWAKU JAPAN is a Japanese general-entertainment channel launched in February 2014 in several countries in the Southeast Asian region.

In the Philippines, WAKUWAKU JAPAN was launched in April 2021 by satellite television and IPTV provider, Cignal TV.

Prior to its launch last 2014, WAKUWAKU Japan provides programs from a variety of genres including anime, superhero programs like Kamen Rider, live-action drama series, culture programs, entertainment shows, sports and documentary series.
