Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO will hit PH theaters on August 31

Toei Animation and Columbia Pictures Philippines officially revealed the global release dates for the upcoming movie Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO including a cinema release in the Philippines on August 31.

The official teaser of the said anime movie was also posted on the social media pages of Columbia Pictures Philippines which will also serve as the distributor of the Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO movie here in the Philippines.

The film follows the Dragon Ball Super anime series, as well as the events of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly feature film, which hit the Philippine theaters in 2019. The said upcoming anime movie will focus on Son Gohan and Piccolo fighting the ultimate Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.

Story Summary:
The Red Ribbon Army was once destroyed by Son Goku. Individuals, who carry on its spirit, have created the ultimate Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. These two Androids call themselves “Super Heroes”. They start attacking Piccolo and Gohan… What is the New Red Ribbon Army’s objective? In the face of approaching danger, it is time to awaken, Super Hero!

Dragon Ball series creator Akira Toriyama is in charge of the original story, screenplay and character design for the film, with Tetsuro Kodama directing and Toei Animation handling animation production.
