Medialink and MAPPA launched their business partnership with a deal for licensing, distribution and mechandising rights of the upcoming anime Chainsaw Man in Asia.
The said announcement was first posted as a press release via the official website of Medialink. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Medialink Group, Ms. Lovinia Chiu said that they are excited to bring the highly anticipated title from MAPPA to whole Asia as anime fans believe that Chainsaw Man is one of the most awaited anime title of 2022.

Chainsaw Man is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump. It follows the story of Denji, an impoverished young man who after making a contract with a dog-like devil named Pochita, he fuses with Denji, granting him the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws. Denji eventually joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters, a government agency focused on fighting against devils whenever they become a threat to the world.

Medialink has been known for licensing and distribution of various anime titles across Asia including the Philippines.
They have partnered with several TV networks here in the Philippines such as ABS-CBN, TV5, and GMA. The same goes for well -known streaming platforms such as Netflix, iQIYI, Bilibili and TrueID.

They also have a YouTube channel called Ani-One Asia where you can watch complete episodes of their anime for free and legally.

MAPPA, on the other hand, is an animation studio known for some of their anime that they animated such as Attack on Titan Final Season, Jujutsu Kaisen, The God of High School, Kakegurui and many more.
