The prequel movie of the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise will soon be available in theaters in the Philippines. This is after SM Cinema’s social media accounts posted a teaser about it.

The said Facebook post of SM Cinema has more than 26 thousand likes and reacts and 22 thousand shares at this time. No word yet on when the anime movie will be released.

Even before the announcement, O’Taco Bites spoke to one of the representatives of Pioneer Films who will be the distributor of the said anime movie here in the Philippines about their plans for the release of the said film as we are already ahead of some neighboring countries in Southeast Asia. We also spoke with one of the representatives of Medialink who controls the licensing and distribution rights of Jujutsu Kaisen throughout Asia about its plan to release the said prequel movie in the Philippines. They continue their plan to release Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in theaters in the Philippines but there are still things that need to be taken care of before it can be carried out.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a prequel movie of the Jujutsu Kaisen TV series. The story is about Yuta Okkotsu, a high schooler who gains control of an extremely powerful Cursed Spirit and gets enrolled in the Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School by Jujutsu Sorcerers to help him control his power and keep an eye on him.
