Aside from the classic Filipino shows, IBC 13 is also planning to air the classic animes and tokusatsus that will soon to air on the said channel.
It was confirmed by IBC President, Ms. Kat De Castro during the recently concluded IBC 13 Press Conference at MESA FIlipino Moderne Restaurant in Tomas Morato, Manila. As she answers all the questions in regards with the improvement of the said TV station.
During the presscon, Ms. De Castro already confirmed that they are planning to re-air the classic animes and tokusatsus as a remembrance to the millennial people on how IBC 13 made themselves as a number 1 TV station during the era of 70’s and 80’s.
She also added that next week, they will have some talks and negotiations with the producers and content providers for an agreement to air the selected animes and tokusatsus on IBC 13. (Go to 30:40-32:50)
“First and foremost next week, I have a meeting with the producer that brought in all those Japanese anime (and) cartoons so will bring it back to IBC.” Ms. De Castro said.
She did not mention the producer or the content provider that she will be meeting next week. She also added that they are open for a co-produced, content providers and blocktimers who will provide a program on the said channel.

more toku and anime not just the 70s 80s or 90s even in present or the last decade to experience to the millennials what those can satisfied our life before without all of stuffs in this era and also many filipino viewers they want to watch anime or toku in filipino tv with tagalog dub

Sana maibalik naman mga shows pinapanood namin noon dekada 80’s 90’s hindi tulad ng abs -cbn,puro kabaklaan, kalandian kaartehan,o puro mga negatibo pinapanood ng mga bata ngayon,wala naman kabuluhan ang mga tv shows,,sana nga IBC,,PLEASE BRING BACK THE TRUE KIDS SHOWS NOON.PLS.
