Aside from the classic Filipino shows, IBC 13 is also planning to air the classic animes and tokusatsus that will soon to air on the said channel.
It was confirmed by IBC President, Ms. Kat De Castro during the recently concluded IBC 13 Press Conference at MESA FIlipino Moderne Restaurant in Tomas Morato, Manila. As she answers all the questions in regards with the improvement of the said TV station.
During the presscon, Ms. De Castro already confirmed that they are planning to re-air the classic animes and tokusatsus as a remembrance to the millennial people on how IBC 13 made themselves as a number 1 TV station during the era of 70’s and 80’s.
She also added that next week, they will have some talks and negotiations with the producers and content providers for an agreement to air the selected animes and tokusatsus on IBC 13. (Go to 30:40-32:50)
“First and foremost next week, I have a meeting with the producer that brought in all those Japanese anime (and) cartoons so will bring it back to IBC.” Ms. De Castro said.
She did not mention the producer or the content provider that she will be meeting next week. She also added that they are open for a co-produced, content providers and blocktimers who will provide a program on the said channel.
