Here are the 7 Japanese songs that heard on Local Radio stations.

-Heard on Love Radio, MOR, Yes, etc.

-Became popular in 1990’s and heard almost Radio Stations at that time thanks to Streetboys.

3. Automatic – Utada Hikaru

-Heard on some Retro stations today like 104.3 FM2.

4. Kimi Ga Suki da to Saketibai – BAAD (Slam Dunk Opening)

-First time heard on WLS 97.1 (Now Barangay LS)

-Heard on Masa and Easy Listening  Radio Stations

-Became popular on Radio in 1990’s and also served as “alternative” theme song of Ranma 1/2.

  • in 2015, a Radio Program on Defunct Oomph Radio 105.1 Cebu Playing Anime and J-Rock songs called “Otaku Hour”, hosted by DJ Choi. This show runs until 2017 due to Reformat to All OPM Stations.
  • in October 2018, a radio program in 89.1 IDOL FM Legaspi dedicated on local idol culture such as MNL48 and japanese music called “Idol Talks” Hosted by Idol Podcaster Ellie Nogami.
