The anime movie “Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?” will set to play on some of the cinemas here in the Philippines on December 15.

Facebook page Viewers’ Choice Philippines told us via Messenger that the Philippine playdate of Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom? will set on December 15. 10 days before annual Metro Manila Film Festival.

Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom? (Uchiage Hanabi, Shita Kara Miru ka? Yoko Kara Miru ka?) is a 2017 Japanese animated romantic drama film produced by Shaft and was released by Toho. It is based on the 1993 Japanese live-action drama of the same name by Shunji Iwai.

The story takes place one day in summer. A group of young men are planning to watch fireworks from the town’s lighthouse, wondering if fireworks are round or flat when seen from the side.
